#FantasyIndiesApril How do you come up with book titles? Most of my WIPs dont have titles. Mielea's Lost formed itself after the third draft. The Mieleans are looking for lost colonists. Three other WIPs have tentative titles. Project Phoenix is just a placeholder title. 😅

#FantasyIndiesApril Where would your characters want to travel? Jokull wants to see more of the outer edge of the known galaxies. It's not a vacation spot but he wants to see if certain rumors are true for his own eyes.

#fantasyindiesapril Animals in WIPs In Mielea's Lost most of the characters can shape shift into various animals, reptiles, and birds. In Project Phoenix, Robin is an anthropomorphic Kitsune and wyvern and pegasus are common place in Asgard.

#FantasyIndiesApril Do you reread books? I will skim books i have read to find what I need. I have reread scenes in some of my favorite books to see how they structured sentences and rediscover words I forgot existed.

#FantasyIndiesApril What do your characters take for granted? Even though Jokull is a capable captain, it could be said that he takes Jaxton for granted. The man is a second father to him and his mentor.

#FantasyIndiesApril First started writing My first attempts at writing were fanfics as a tween. My original works started in high-school. Some of it was boredom between classes but mostly I was bored out of my mind with the reading material around me. So, I made my own.

#FantasyIndiesApril MC's childhood Jokull's first couple years of his life weren't too great. When his grandfather gained custody, it was 💯 better. For Tezzy, things were good until his mother died. Then his father wasn't fully coherent with the world around him.

#FantasyIndiesApril How would your characters describe themselves? Jokull would say he's loyal and reliable. Also stubborn when regarding his back. Tezzy would say he rather help others first and his needs take a backseat.

#FantasyIndiesApril Preferred reading format I prefer paperbacks but since I have limited space, I get alot of ebooks. I buy the books I know I want to hold onto.

#FantasyIndiesApril How do you choose your next WIP? Most of the time the WIP chooses me. Sometimes, I love the concept but with my current skills I dont think I can do it justice. Other times it will just push the others aside and go 'I'm next. Notice me'.

#FantasyIndiesApril What words do you overuse in your writing? Recently I noticed 'look' way too often while editing. I'm sure I have other overused words. This one is just most recent.
