It’s time to end the war on cars and also the war on cop cars. Thrilled to see Ottawa Police are already taking advantage of my proposal to replace bike lanes with dedicated cop lanes.

Pretty rich coming from someone that lives in an urban, walkable neighbourhood. It really is a shame if others wanted that same lifestyle without the million dollar price tag.

When police are “denouncing” political candidates we have a problem. But we have had that problem for a long time, a culture of lawless entitlement and constant grift from the cops.

A recent trip to Montreal showed me how beneficial a municipal bike-rental program like Bixi can be, EVEN in winter cities. I’m looking forward to working with council colleagues on this. A healthier & more sustainable Ottawa is possible. #OttCity youtu.be/FgnnCuW0xcQ

Props to Ford for at least correctly telling drivers to watch out for kids and not the other way around. Maybe he’s coming around after all.

It’s true. Every time I walk or bike or drive my kids to school I worry about my own safety, theirs or a poor third person I might accidentally hit in a collision caused by forcing cars, bikes and people into the same space. Not sure how these 25 officers can help prevent that.
