In the past days, I’ve seen schools & neighborhoods mobilize like mini-Nat’l Guards, Red Crosses, & construction crews. It’s been incredible. So much more to do, but so much love & kindness here. And so much more love poured into our community from other org’s, cities & states!💚

23 home visits, 23 smiles, 23 reasons why I chose to be an educator. Who knew delivering such a small box would bring so much joy. Seeing these sweet faces make hard times a little easier 💜💛

Ending our Read Across America week with a special guest- the one and only Mr. Perkins! 📚 Our students loved having our principal read Bot + Boy after learning about robots and inventions this week. 🤖📖

We had a special guest today! Thanks, Lt. Governor Jacqueline Coleman, for stopping by to volunteer. Whether it was playing alphabet Go Fish, helping first graders learn to read, or reading “Be Kind” to kindergarten (with lots of hugs, of course), the kids were so thankful for your visit!
