Erika Kague welcomed 200+ people at the The University of Edinburgh open doors day to an immersive VR experience of embryonic zebrafish. Visitors zoomed through developing neurones and bones to learn how larval zebrafish are being used to study osteoarthritis and replace experiments in mice.

At the AlexTLC patient community day Noémie (no-eh-mee) Hamilton helped families affected by leukodystrophy understand how the 3Rs is advancing research, with 3D printed models of embryonic zebrafish to represent her research into gene therapy and a zebrafish MRI scan life support chamber.

Very strange and questionable paper from Novo Nordisk that pretends to justify the development of NKR2 agonists against obesity and diabetes on very weak human genetic data that don’t t show any strong evidence of causality that DNA variants in this chromosome region are really
