They are trying to slap a Native man with 17 years in prison for supposedly grabbing a police shield during the Black Hills protest. This guy is taking pictures with one.

Since it appears GOP leaders need a reminder: There is no “healing” from this without accountability. And there is no “unity” with white supremacists. You know the President’s state has devolved dangerously. If you’re too weak to do anything about it, you’re too weak to serve.

This week a Thai American was MURDERED, a Viet grandmother was assaulted & a Fillipino American was slashed across the face. Mainstream media does not spotlight our stories. Racism Kills. CNN MSNBC @maddowshow Anderson Cooper cover us! We are dying to be heard. #justiceforvicha

Excited for the work that Camelback Ventures and New Profit are leading with the #NextInLine initiative to shift the conversation from generational wealth to generational INHERITANCE.

We can't talk about #AsianAmerican identity and experience without talking about the influence of colonization, white supremacy, and anti-blackness. It's a complicated conversation and requires uncovering history that has been buried and erased. Lean in.

Still struck by this: Genevieve Hansen, the off-duty firefighter on the scene as George Floyd died, said she stayed on scene after Floyd was taken away bc she worried about the Black people and people of color --like Donald Williams -- possibly being hurt by remaining police.

This whole thread. The last two weeks I have been engaged with my Harvard University colleagues and cohort to be so much better than this. While still reeling in much disappointment.

we got here because of darnella frazier, who was 17 years old when she filmed george floyd's murder. i am forever grateful to her.

God bless and comfort the young woman, Darnella Frazier--a child at the time--who had the presence of mind to document this vicious murder and the fortitude to testify so eloquently.

Repair begins with accountability. We still have so far to go. I am grateful for this verdict and devastated that George Floyd is not here today. We keep fighting. ❤️

Thank you to every single organizer, protester, activist and good troublemaker who took to the streets this summer to remind America that the pandemic of racist state violence is deadly. This wasn’t “the system” working. It was y’all working. We are in your debt.

God knew just how much we could bear. This is a turning point. Let's continue to correct everything that stands against love. That is true #justice. #BeLove #GeorgeFloyd
