Investment in adaptive hurricane measurement networks allows us to continue to provide superior Hurricane wind field analysis and forecast products. Our partners from Texas Tech University Hurricane Research Team and UF Engineering deploying observing stations ahead of #HurricaneDelta

Decided to put what I learned in Purdue EAPS SPOTTR to use, thanks to @tornatrix and Daniel T. Dawson II. While everyone was up near Amarillo, TX we captured this east of Hale Center, TX at 4:20pm CST. Short lived. Followed cell to the edge of the caprock, produced more but out of line of sight.

Pretty cool write-up on our long running field project at Texas Tech University in hurricanes at landfall. So many have contributed to this project over the years. NWI Texas Tech University Hurricane Research Team TTUResearch today.ttu.edu/posts/2021/10/…
