In an attempt to illustrate the dubious short term value of a Top 3 pick in the #NBADraft, I have attached Rookie Win Charts for the top 3 picks from 2002-24 calculated by Marginal Win Score, a derivative of the only academically tested bball win metric created by David Berri.

How did I come up with "Value" for my NBA win charts? Its a combination of David Berri "wins produced" and Pete Palmer's "value wins" in "Total Baseball" (wins produced above 0.500%) It gives credit for wins and for making your team a winning team. sabr.org/research/artic…
