Unfortunately I don’t think the Pico Balloon survived the night even tho it was looking promising before it went to sleep. Will try again here next week!

Midnight pico launch. Only window I had that didn’t have clouds nor wind. Nervously waiting till 8am local time till I seen the first reports and telemetry roll in. It’s now on its voyage across the Atlantic.

Tracking site is down.. but WSPRnet still shows the Balloon over China. Any my VK friends care to listen on 10m WSPR? Transmits every 10minutes on the 2nd minute. Followed by telemetry transmission.

First US station spot in quite a few days. Like to see 10m conditions improve and get some nice state side spots crossing the pacific.

Enjoying a break from the non stop rain we’ve been having. Checked in to the local Dstar repeater, and watching the little one play.

Unfortunately 1 of the 2 balloons launched will not make it by the end of the day. 10m (W3IPA-280) balloon developed a leak over the Atlantic roughly 39,000’ 15m (W3IPA-207) still looking good. 👍 🤞

Got the squirt gun 6m station up. 3el yagi only about 8ft up.

Wish it was lower it latitude but I’ll take it! After 2 weeks of flight, I finally circumnavigated the world with a small Pico balloon! Thanks to Dave Dave Fisher - KG0D for always listening for it and KO4AQF Brian 🚀📡 for answering my questions! Hopefully many more laps to come.

W3IPA-207 15m WSPR balloon has reached the North Pole last grid square transmitted CR55. Almost literally top of the world! This has been such an interesting adventure!

Launched a Meshtastic balloon tonight. Should be over Pittsburgh PA now. Well over 200 new nodes now 😂 Fun to make contacts over the mesh with a floating repeater. #meshtastic
