Always wanted United to gamble on young, underrated players that can be bought without breaking the bank. Dorgu fits that bill. But the club’s situation is so dire that they also need a couple of senior pros to come in and hit the ground running. Hopefully we get at least one.

Not getting rid of Casemiro this window is a massive L for INEOS. Getting his wages off the books + a half decent fee would have been such a boost and we could have potentially brought in a new midfielder as well. Big failure.

Arsenal pulling off the revenge arc on Man City and Haaland would have been cold had they not been in a trophy drought in the first place. What exactly are you trying to say to a treble winner? 😂

This system can’t work in the premier league because it demands exceptionally high ball retention skills, pace and power. United have absolutely NONE of those and are further hindered by the quality of prem sides who don’t give our players time on the ball. It’s suicidal tbh.

The players are totally hopeless but Amorim isn’t making it any easier for them either. He needs to find solutions but rather comes up with a new problem every week. We’ve seen it before, the pressure of the job and the urge to resist it pushes managers into delusion. Wake up!!!!

I don’t think we appreciate having enough. He was unlucky with injury and certainly got tested when he came back, but for a 19 year old kid to step up towards the end of season is unbelievable. If I would have been matching him at Madrid now I would have thought, what a player!

Unpopular opinion but I think we should keep Hojlund even if we sign Sesko. Hojlund's market value is down currently so might well keep him and see how he reacts to competition. It will also bring the best out of Sesko.

I bet Sancho won't be able to agree on personal terms with Roma and will instead ask for a payout to leave the club. Worse still, he could reject Roma entirely and wait out for a loan move this window with a view to leave as a free agent next summer.

While United look to have a genuine interest in signing Baleba, I feel this summer it's been more of a smokescreen while they work on a more shrewd and economical signing for midfield.

I get why everyone is optimistic about United this season but the problem is the difficulty of starting fixtures. Amorim really needs to get a foot in the door to inspire belief in the group. If we don't win at Fulham next week then it's going to be difficult to do that.

Doesn't look like there were any alternatives to Baleba this summer. Unless Chris Vivell can come up with a money ball signing, we will have to be content with Casemiro doing his best and Ugarte his worst.

It's one thing to have the confidence to run straight through a defence at OT with 75k people watching on, it's quite another to actually pull it off. Cunha has done it twice - as an opposition player and as a United player. Both on opening day. He's just built for that stage.

I think the fans' reaction to Bayindir not being strong enough for Arsenal's goal has been overly critical. Arsenal are known for this and have bullied better defences and keepers in the past. If he gets a run of games he will be decent for us this season.

The Agoume links appear to be forced at this moment just because the Baleba talks broke. That said, it will not be surprising to see United register genuine interest late in the window.

Arteta is so damn lucky. It's not even 24 hours since Havertz injury news is out and they have already lined up a quality reinforcement for him. Fair play to Arsenal. They have backed him to the hilt and continue to reap rewards in the form of consistent Champions league money.

As part of match preparations Amorim surely has to warn the team about the opposition trying to exploit the midfield. What do you think if you're Bruno? He's gone from being the MVP to a surplus. That has to be hard and i think Bruno is well conscious of this now.

I get the whole club culture and DNA thing with the academy, but the club is at that juncture now where they need to sell academy talent to make cash and register massive profits. That doesn't clear Amorim though and the fact that he is unable to coach any talent at his disposal.
