As Winter Break approaches, note that on-Grounds mailrooms are CLOSED from December 21 to January 1. So be sure to pick up any mail and packages before satellite mailrooms close on Friday, December 13! For mail hours from December 16-20 and during J-Term: housing.virginia.edu/mail.

Due to winter weather, UVA will delay opening until 10:00am on Tuesday, January 7th, 2025. J-Term courses will be held in person unless students have heard directly from their instructor. University officials will provide updates on Tuesday morning should additional schedule

We want students returning to Grounds for Spring 2025 to be able to travel safely given the weather forecast for January 11. First-years may now arrive early on January 10. On-Grounds dining halls open on January 12, and classes begin on January 13. Best wishes for a safe return!
