Only my second visit to LFA17 this year, nice to catch a pair of fully marked 12 Squadron Typhoons heading north, however the following pair mugged me by passing behind. Can’t win ‘em all!

Couldn’t make it to Royal International Air Tattoo this year and from I’ve seen I’ve missed a cracker. Well done to all, great effort now just get a safe departure day done and dusted.

In the absence of some fast jet action I paid a visit to RSPB Fowlesheugh to check out the seabirds. Lovely east coast weather wasn’t the best for pics but had a great couple of hours. Maybe some sunshine next time.

Not my usual wingborne subjects but that said, a superb day out RSPB Scotland Troup Head yesterday.

Yesterday’s Haar allowed for some different views of the Forth Rail Bridge. At times the road bridges were completely covered.

Out in 🇬🇷 and had a superb start to #PhantomFriday Never tire of shooting these beauties.

It’s certainly not fast & pointy but it’s certainly impressive. Great to see this Erickson Incorporated beast airborne yesterday 🇬🇷

Quite a good ten days or so of aviation from 🇬🇷 to 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 with the sun shining in both. Didn’t manage to catch those lovely MH’s but pleased with my lot!

Still working my way through the 🇬🇷 shots from late September. Another aviation highlight just before heading home was seeing these hard working machines continuing to provide overwatch for fires in the Athens area.

An early work start yesterday gave me a bit of free time in the afternoon to take a look at the local Red Squirrels. Quite the characters and a joy to watch for an hour or so, lucky to have these on the doorstep.
