Several hundred students set up a non-violent anti-war protest camp at Freie Universität today. The police cleared the camp within hours — like this. The FU administration at the scene did not negotiate with the protesters. They refused to comment.
Today, we mourn our colleague Dr Adnan Al-Bursh who was tortured to death in Israeli detention. Dr Al-Bursh had received training at King's College London and worked as surgeon and the head of orthopaedic medicine at Al-Shifa hospital. He is a hero and we are proud of him.
