We can look back on our bumpy path and see how God led us from grace to grace, from faith to faith. And then we can look ahead and sometimes forget His past faithfulness. How forgetful am I, how faithful is He.

I love that the Bible doesn’t hide the failures of those who were used in mighty ways.

I’ve made choices I’d undo in a second if I could. But God doesn’t waste our repentance. 
He restores the years we thought we ruined. (Joel 2:25) Even the years we misused.
Even the ones we regret. 
They’ll look different… but nothing surrendered to God is ever wasted.

I lose followers every time I post about Jesus. So I will post it again. Jesus is Lord and King!

The man who does not like self-examination may be pretty certain that things need examining.

People will say you're “too serious”, “too extreme”, or “too deep” about Jesus. He was so seriously, extremely, and deeply in love with you that He died the death you deserved. Remind them of that!!

If you can't go without it, fast from it. It's an idol.
