A springtime sun and a winter wind.

shelly God's joy transcends circumstances, illuminating even the darkest moments when we seek Him as its source. It's a profound realization that in His presence, joy becomes our steadfast companion, guiding us through every trial. #JoyInGod 🌟😊

I will never stop being amazed at the way God fills me with his joy, even in the worst circumstances. My stubborn mind finally sees that when HE is the source of my joy, I have access to it no matter what is going on. Joy in the midst of heartbreak, and all you have to do is ask.

I pray today that you keep fighting the good fight. That you keep running the race. That you keep your lamp full of oil, your eyes on the sky. Keep waiting on the Lord to renew your strength.

I’m learning that surrendering your life to God is a daily thing. Sometimes an hourly thing. Sometimes a minutely thing. It’s an over and over thing. I keep forgetting that I’ve let it go and catch myself scrambling to pick it up again.

And with the sunrise, new mercies.
