They may not look much at the moment but our fruit trees are on their way to their new homes 🌱 500 fruit trees continuing to grow in the gardens of the good people of Broxtowe🍒 Councils should not be just municipal monoliths, they should also fill us with hope and beauty

Austerity is not the politics of grassroots Labour party members and it should never be the politics of a Labour government. There’s nothing brave about cutting public spending. Real bravery would be taxing the multimillionaires/billionaires and changing society for the better.

Keir Starmer has turned his back on the working class. It’s not the Party we campaigned for or the Party he promised. Our Cllr explaining to ITV News why we had to make the difficult decision to leave, we needed to focus on the people in Broxtowe not the people in Westminster

Always have a great time at these events, and yesterday's was no different. It's so lovely to see everyone working together to help stuff last longer. The next café is on Saturday 17th May. Look out for booking details closer to the time. 🙂

No-one voted for this. We expected it from the Tories, but not from The Labour Party. Make no mistake, this is a choice and they’re “choosing” not to rebuild QMC until 2037 🏨💔

She’s listened to the ‘non -dom community’ but not the WASPi women, the pensioners, the charities demanding a rethink on the 2 child benefit cap, the working class communities left behind. It’s astounding that this is the LABOUR Party, a LABOUR government!

So many passionate, community minded people (familiar faces and new) coming together to share ideas about how we can have positive impact in Broxtowe and beyond. Feeling really grateful and inspired 😁

Help us fight the National Party machines and let us,our residents & our communities have a voice & a seat at the political table in May. Never before has it been so vital to break the 2 Party system and provide a strong community alternative to Reform gofund.me/2db69baa

If anyone was believing the hype, this is the view of a recent senior Nottm City Councillor who sees #Broxtowe as a rotten borough and Beeston, Stapleford, Kimberley and Eastwood as “meaningless suburban towns”. It is a remarkable insult and shows what the City thinks of us.
