Mission BC are apologizing for a tweet about a missing Indigenous man found dead just blocks from the detachment. And still looking into that hit and run at a March for residential schools. We spoke with @rjjago who was there. youtu.be/RLrKjFX9Jg8

It is so weird to be so frequently put in a position by friends, organizations, even strangers, to explain why I don't want to get sick. Yes, I'm willing to take some very small, simple, easy precautions to avoid getting sick. On account of not wanting to get sick.

I just tested positive for Covid. First time. Always wear masks indoors. Let my guard down and agreed to two meals with friends inside a restaurant. Minor symptoms but quarantining. I’ll be fine in a few days. All the more reason to vaccinate. Be careful. It’s not gone.

But... What you really want to do is prevent becoming infected in the first place. Each time you get infected or reinfected there is a chance you can develop long-term consequences or possibly permanent damage to your body as COVID-19 is not a cold. 34/

On Monday, in what seems like a scene out of a science fiction movie, NASA will slam a spacecraft into a distant asteroid to see whether it can nudge its orbit — all in an effort to test a way to protect Earth from any potential future threats. cbc.ca/1.6590421
