It was a very exciting morning in Year 2 with a visit from Herts Fire & Rescue. The children had a great time and learned lots - thank you, White Watch!
Our February Author of the Month is the brilliant onjali rauf. Our Y5s already have The Boy at the Back of the Class as one of their class readers so we’re excited to introduce the children to her other novels, short stories and non-fiction
Happy World Book Day! We’ve been wearing our comfiest clothes and enjoying a good book today, but last week we celebrated with a wonderful visit from the incredible BookwagonUK So many great recommendations - our children can’t stop talking about the new books they discovered!

Just the most incredible start to our Arts Week - a visit from the amazing Kate Wakeling. The children loved seeing Kate perform and our day of poetry workshops culminated in a joyful grandparent sharing afternoon as part of the Poetry Together project.
