I am terrified to be a Black woman walking around in America. We are literally afraid to live our lives because some random person feels entitled to taking it. I map out exits before I enter stores. I have nightmares about dying. And no one cares. No one really cares about us.

Scientists have responsibilities. If u think you can pretend to live in Disneyland and just “talk science”, then u are missing a big part of ur responsibility as a scientist. Scientists were always part of political history. If you don’t remember, brush up on ur history.
