Tomorrow at Newcastle City Library: history talk (at 2pm), nurses' memorabilia and oral histories. There will be someone from Newcastle University's Health Innovation Neighbourhood, if you want to find out what's happening with the site.

A great Northern Cultural Projects event yesterday Newcastle Libraries, part of our community history project with former nurses of the Newcastle General Hospital, supported by Engage@NewcastleUni / Health Innovation Neighbourhood.

A new journey starting with the past. Brilliant day with the team of young people from the estate, diving deep into the history of Byker, its communities and the built environment, to develop design ideas for the next phase of local street art.

We've adopted a new meeting format for the Byker Children and Young People's Partnership (BCYPP): we spend the last 1/2 hour litter picking on the estate. BykerCommunityTrust

Some great conversations at the 'Fight for Byker and Other Stories' handling session at the Farrell Centre on Saturday, mainly with people who knew nothing about Byker's history. And of course we had the best seats for the ⚽ parade!
