Good old Southern Water always to be relied upon to screw up someone's weekend. Last week it was no drinking water for 10,000s, this week because of sewage dumping beaches are "Closed to swimmers, bathers and paddlers, including, Bognor Regis, Felpham, Clymping and Elmer".

We, the customers, have for 30 years provided all of the funding necessary for WCs to comply with the law something WCs confirm to Ofwat each and every year. Where's our money gone? What has happened to it? When can we the customers get a refund? (2/2)

The hosepipe ban referred to, the one in the newspaper article, applies to Plymouth and was introduced a month ago. You are correct to say that Cornwall has been under a hosepipe ban since last August.

Would that be because you get rid of any sites that are failing thereby keeping a so called perfect record? Inquiring minds need to know.
