Good to see this Nick Robinson. I may have missed it but it would be good to clarify this on your show so the same audience has the right information.

Today, I confronted with UK 🇬🇧 Minister of Energy, Climate and Environment Zac Goldsmith at #COP27. I asked him, "When will you release those jailed climate activists your Govt. arrested for protesting to stop new oil & gas license across UK?" He replied, "No idea" & run away!

🚨This isn't the ocean.🚨 It's devastating flooding in central NSW where water stretches as far as the eye can see.

While France is banning short-haul flights, the UK government is now promoting them, under the slogan 'Grow the Economy' More like 'Kill the Living World'. Policies like this, in times like these, will be recorded in the history books as ecocide.

I really wish the ubiquitous GHG #decoupling charts were better news than they are (as it would make things much easier) but unfortunately they fall foul of the 'fallacy of composition' and are fostering a dangerous complacency about climate change efforts. 🧵
