Very excited to share the first paper from my PhD with Harry Anderson Group now out in J. Am. Chem. Soc. demonstrating enhanced antiaromatic ring currents in the first fully pi-conjugated macrocycle containing triply-linked porphyrin tapes: pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/ja…

Very happy to see this out: A great collaborative work with Sebastian Kopp and KennyDeng from Harry Anderson Group where we have taken a look at ring currents in a fully delocalised, partially fused porphyrin nanoring. 📼💍pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/ja…

Amplified anti-aromatic ring currents are observed in a pi-conjugated macrocycle containing triply-linked porphyrin tapes, prepared via template-directed synthesis by Harry Anderson Group acspubs.co/cIZ350C9CZp

I am very excited that I passed my PhD viva yesterday after an amazing time at Oxford Chemistry with Harry Anderson Group and the Timmel group! Many thanks to Han Lab 🧲 @ Northwestern University and The Neidig Lab for the enjoyable viva and interesting discussions.

Very excited to share this work from my PhD just published in J. Am. Chem. Soc.. We established a weakly coupled porphyrin dimer as suitable platform for a single-molecule spin valve and the photogeneration of high-multiplicity spin states by studying its charge and spin transfer

Very excited to share this work from my postdoc at Northwestern Chemistry, CMQT - Center for Molecular Quantum Transduction just published in J. Am. Chem. Soc.! We demonstrate a novel optical-spin interface that enables the photoinitialization, microwave manipulation, and optical read-out of an organic molecular qubit.

Don’t miss this recent J. Am. Chem.
