This fall we participated in #SnapShotUSA using our #cameratraps to document #mammal species in #Newburgh and #BlackRockForest. It was a great opportunity to help Newburgh Schools students see what lives around the City Of Newburgh, NY, including #coyote, #bobcat, and #greyfox!

Happy to see Hanna's hard work come out. Looking forward to learning more from her while she's here Black Rock Forest and beyond!

Another interesting article by Ben Goldfarb on one of the understudied linear #infrastructure behemoths outside: enough fencing to reach the sun! #wildlife #movements biographic.com/entangled/

I always enjoy talking about #fishers, Black Rock Forest, and #wildlife #connectivity! Thanks to Bill and Daniel @FieldGuidesPod for making the trip. Go support their podcast: thefieldguidespodcast.com/new-blog

#Postdoc opp with me Black Rock Forest, LDEO, and American Museum of Natural History on #wildlife #ecology and #conservation. Please share widely! Details here but also highly encouraged to contact me: blackrockforest.org/black-rock-for… #TWS2024

Stumbled across this #Ambystoma maculatum while checking #cameratraps inside Black Rock Forest yesterday. Any #herp folks know why it was out? #fieldwork

'Tis the season for #cameratrapping at Black Rock Forest for me. Here's a nice sequence of a #bobcat mother and nearly full-grown kitten. Atypically interested in the lure. #wildlife #ecology

Lost coyote? Enjoyed our first good #snow tracking session inside Black Rock Forest. This #coyote seems to check out our kiosk. Low #animal activity, but scenic.
