Wondering what the Water Dept has been up to? Last month the team responded to an emergency repair of a section of 12” water main that erupted within Lake Street Apts. The break occurred around 3:30pm & the team worked into the night & was able to restore water service by 7am.

Thank you Central Hudson! The team is distributing free ice (regular, not dry) and water today until 5pm at the Newburgh Armory (321 S. William Street). Customers are advised to bring coolers to transport or store ice. Please wear a face covering and practice social distancing.

Wondering what the Water Department is up to? The team worked with youth from the summer employment program on various projects around the City. Students helped staff paint, install concrete forms, perform maintenance, collect water samples & cut grass. 🔧💦🚧
