Why are #NHSCOMPLAINTS so frustrating, the only reply I ever get is sorry nobody has responded, Someone will be in touch soon. People are dying and these people just ignore you in the hope you will just go away #FedUp

For those cheering for cuts to disability benefits, remember, you could become disabled tomorrow. Your child could become disabled, your partner could at any time. No one chooses to be disabled or chronically ill, it just happens. #DisabilityBenefits

Labour’s new war on disabled people will go down as one of the darkest chapters of this deeply unpopular government’s one term in power. This DWP assault on disabled people isn’t what Labour is supposed to look like… is it? New from me for Canary thecanary.co/opinion/2025/0…

Diane Abbott says: "I would introduce the WEALTH TAX. If you brought in a WEALTH TAX of just 2% on people with assets over £10m, that would raise £24bn a year." I stand with Diane Abbott. Do you?

Thames Water has been given a £3 billion bailout, paid for by you and me. Why should households have to pay for the mess that Thames Water got itself into, just so execs and shareholders can protect their profits? There is a better solution: take water into public ownership.

This is a seminal moment: a Labour government cutting disability benefits. Not just continuing Tory levels. Cutting. This comes after a week of speculation, itself an act of cruelty by a government toying with people’s dignity. These cuts are disgraceful - and will cost lives.

Keir Starmer With the proposed change to the PIP 2 things will happen 1. Hundreds of thousands of disabled people will be forced into poverty 2. Hundreds of thousands of carers will be thrown into poverty & be unable to care for a loved one meaning the NHS will have to step in.

£675million was spent on 20,000 government credit cards across central departments and agencies in the last financial year - What are they buying? 😐 Anything classed as waste or fraud should be taken out of their wages!! Starting with Reeves!!!

To all the Supermarkets and big commercial stores that operate 'Self Check-outs'....... You are heading towards almost exclusively self-checkout now. Today I went shopping at one such store and the lady checking receipts at the exit was stopping everyone. I didn't choose to

For a government that says cutting disability benefits will get more disabled people into work—why are they slashing Access to Work funding and now going after EHCPs? You can’t pull support and expect inclusion. #DisabilityRights #AccessToWork #EHCP #SENDCrisis #DisabilityCuts

Today, I voted against the government’s disgraceful cuts to disability support. Moments before, I joined disability rights campaigners outside Parliament to say: this isn’t over. We will not give up until we have built a society that cares for each other, and cares for all!

This government made a political choice to make life harder for the sick and disabled. Well done to those MPs who had the courage to speak up for the marginalised and put their constituents first. That is what it means to serve the people.
