Go Mighty Oaks! They keep beating teams the seeding says they’re not supposed to. They’ve been a second-half team all year, and they did it again today. Keep rolling! #feartheacorn

Congratulations to the Mighty Oaks! Seeded 10 in 12 team nationals, they go 3-1, playing 4 days in a row to finish 5th. Akeem Taylor most outstanding player for Salem, and the end the season with a 26-8 record, smashing all Salem single-season records.

Coach Mike Green and staff did an amazing job, and put the program on the national map. Mighty Oaks probably the biggest surprise to everyone but them. A great ride for the team, SCC, and all families and fans.

Going back to last spring season, 3 of the 4 sports seasons (Softball, Baseball and Men’s Basketball) have all set all-time school records for victories. Coaches Angel Rodriguez, John Holt and Mike Green have built Region 19 and now NJCAA National caliber programs.
