Daithí Crowley Cork GAA Doheny Gaa Poor form from cork county board no respect for the dohenys footballers. Are players supposed to keep guessing as to when they’ll be playing? Surely OfficalCorkGAA have a master plan for fixtures with the possibility of replays built in.

The 5 Year Plan for Cork Football has the rigid enforcement of a fixtures calendar as a ‘high priority’ yet the Senior A final is not only fixed 4 weeks on from the semi, but refixed to 5 weeks out to accommodate hurling. Football still the poor relation Cork GAA

One of the things the split season brought was "certainty" as regards fixtures. People could plan their lives around fixtures, in advance.. I can understand the annoyance from Dohenys.. If the All Ireland Hurling was a draw, they don't move the football to accommodate it..
