What a moment! A #WhiteTailedEagle is born in England – the 1st for over 240 years! It hatched earlier this summer & has now fledged. It's the first breeding success of the birds released by Forestry England & Roy Dennis Foundation in a landmark project to return this iconic species.

In June, I collaborated with rubbingoutproject.co.uk a participatory drawing project that is bringing awareness to species declines through art and public engagement. I ofc spoke about the #burbot and the declines its facing throughout Europe @gemmariggsfilm & Andrea Carr.

An astonishing day habitat & fish surveying on the Allt Lorgy with Atticus from Spey Fishery Board (THANKYOU!!!). Salmon & Trout galore on a river which is restoring itself into a complex, multi-channel system with the help of recent floods. Inspirational stuff!!! UCL Geography

We're calling on Environment Secretary of State Steve Reed MP to secure the future of the Water Restoration Fund. The Fund would ensure that water company fines are reinvested into restoring rivers & their catchments, but delays have caused concerns that it may be discontinued.
