My prep mainly relates to sensible footwear choices! Looking forward to National Funeral Exhibition 2024; it's always great to see the profession come together for the show. Also looking forward to presenting on NAFD UK advocacy & media support with Rachel Bradburne & NAFD President on Friday.

Today of all days it was a privilege to speak for NAFD UK members at the APPG for Funerals and Bereavement meeting in #Westminster aside from the important work there’s quite an atmosphere! Rachel Bradburne Deceased Management Advisory Group JBP #FuneralDirectors

Huge congratulations Jeremy Field OBE OBE on being recognised for your tireless work advocating for #funeral directors and #bereaved people, particularly during #COVID19.

3/4: This #GriefAwarenessWeek, can you add your name to NAFD President John’s petition to include awareness of death, dying and bereavement to the Department for Education National Curriculum? John lost his own mum at the age of 12 and knows just how isolating this experience can be.

There was extensive coverage of NAFD President campaign to encourage age-appropriate conversations about loss and bereavement, in schools, as part of the National Curriculum. #Funerals #FuneralDirectors nafd.org.uk/2023/01/12/bbc…

Our campaign to add proactive teaching about #bereavement in schools, led by NAFD President, has taken another step forward. Responding to the petition Department for Education confirms it “will assess whether content on bereavement is needed” in RHSE lessons. nafd.org.uk/2023/03/15/gov…

The Funerals and Bereavement APPG are pleased to share that the group has been reconstituted following the General Election. We held the inaugural meeting with the Chair, Cat Smith MP, to discuss the issues facing the sector and look forward to continuing our work in this area.

Valuable opportunity to discuss the detail of the Law Commission's proposals for burial and cremation law.
