Over the weekend, and honestly without planning to, I managed to traverse each of the 4 Scottish Central Belt rail lines... All of which have been electrified ⚡⚡ Not a single one of the 5 remaining railways over the Pennines has been electrified yet 👎

The UK is so ridiculously behind on electrification. NR have put forward a reasonable rolling program for most lines in the country but ofcourse without a serious government we aren’t going to get it anytime soon. networkrail.co.uk/wp-content/upl…
