This is a common question from patients and carers of people with bronchiectasis. Why have so few people ever heard of such a common condition, even health professionals? Its getting better, but bronchiectasis is still an orphan condition in many places. Patients deserve better!

It’s a big change and we need to do better in diagnosing asthma. Spirometry not available does not mean my doctor can’t be bothered ordering it.
