Pete Alonso is going to put Mets fans through the ringer again this offseason when he opts out and wants to be paid like a top player in the league (he's not). that said, breaking Darryl's HR record is obviously a huge accomplishment. especially for a homegrown guy. #LGM

Clay Holmes. Sean Manaea. Kodai Senga. all just absolute trash recently. tough to win when your starters give you NOTHING. You can have prime Mariano in the 'pen & it wouldn't make a difference. 5+ innings of relief every night isn't sustainable for the Mets. total wreck. #LGM
