Take a look at this Roman figurine found near Kettlestone last year by a metal detector user, recorded by our team. Made from copper alloy, it depicts a goat. Associated with the god Mercury, they are often found in 'votive' contexts such as from shrines or water. #FindsFriday

The Finds Team will be at Lynn Museum on Saturday 29th March between 11am and 4pm to take a look at objects found by members of the public. Objects handed in at previous Finds Days at Lynn Museum will be available to collect. Please stagger attendance throughout the day.

An Iron Age hoard found in 2020 by a metal detector user. The hoard is comprised of four pieces of horse equipment. There are a pair of lyre-shaped bridle burrs, a harness ring and a likely binding strip. PAS record: rb.gy/qj02z6 #FindsFriday #ironage #archaeology
