I'm missing writing, but it's just not possible right now. I need to be putting my 20 yrs experience in care to good use, and trying my best to maintain a sense of positivity for my kids. My own ambitions will have to wait, and I'm cool with that. (But it does suck sometimes)

Repotted over 150 seedlings yesterday, and planted about 100 more. I WILL have colour this summer. Garlic, peas and potatoes all growing well too. Present me is very grateful to last-year me for clearing the overgrown gardens and discovering a love of growing green things!

Tomorrow I turn 40. Time for some reflection. I always feel I'm not enough. But, I reckon if I told my younger self that by the time she turns 40 she'll have raised 2 awesome kids, been happily married for nearly 20 yrs, and have two books on the shelves, she'd be pretty happy.

Finally sorted the pens, crafty bits and random DIY bits into labelled containers like a civilised person. What? What's wrong with it? 😉

New catnip plants aren't even going to make it out into the garden if Temmie keeps eating it before I've had chance to plant them!

I'm such a silly twonk. My vision is rapidly deteriorating and I've been waiting for shielding to end so I can get an eye test, when all this time I could have just driven to my local castle! Arundel castle works too, right? FYI, stay off the A27 tomorrow, I don't see so good.
