To finish the day, we looked at prosthetics and the history of the Paralympics through a Glasgow Science Centre live lesson, BBC and watching some clips of Paralympic sports. We were inspired to dream big and never let anything get in our way! 😁

Thank you Glasgow Science Centre for another informative live lesson about bumblebees 🐝🐝🐝 After the lesson Mrs Coyle made up a quiz taking all the questions and answers from the lesson and we really impressed her with all our new knowledge 😁😁😁 Well done to the winner J 🌟

Today in Technology we were taught how to use the website sketch.metademolab.com. First we had to draw a detailed picture and colour it in, paying special attention to the details, then we uploaded and adjusted the different elements to turn our drawing into a moving animation👩🏽‍💻

As engineers, today was about test runs and adapting designs. We needed to communicate with the other members of our group to talk through what we could adjust in order to make our marble run successful. We then had to measure any new objects and edit our designs....tbc...

Today for STEM and outdoor learning with @Laurieston_P54 we looked at why birds build nests, the different types of nests, where they are found and the different materials they are built from. We then worked together to build our own! Falkirk STEM

Today in maths we put our marble runs to the test!! After final adjustments, measurements and discussions with our teams, we showed off our hard work for the week to our classmates. We then critiqued and complemented each other. Fantastic work P5/4!!

We had so much fun for our last session with Pat from YMI. Thank you so much for our new Garage Band knowledge and skills over the past few weeks and for teaching us new songs and games this week 🎹🎸🎶🎻

Today we continued with our reading and research tasks from last week. We had to select the most relevant information from different pieces of text and then create a fact file from all our hard work 📚📝😁

Today in Literacy we had to apply different spelling strategies, transfer learning, communicate with our peers and utilise all literacy resources to decide on the correct spelling 🌟🌟🌟

Today in Technology we were introduced to Tinkercad 👩🏽‍💻💻🟥 We followed different tutorials, created different 3D designs and started new projects. We really enjoyed it and can't wait to have another go!!

Today in HWB we were discussing article 5️⃣ of the Children's Right's. We had a very lengthy and mature discussion about what this article meant and where we recognised the article being practised drawing on our personal experiences 🌍

Mrs Coyle told us we would be making some chocolate treats but she never told us we had to work for them....😋 We started the day writing a set of instructions to make chocolate Easter cakes before getting to work to make them ❤️ All to be enjoyed tomorrow 😁
