Still have a long way to go for gender equity! An excellent spotlight on Female representation on editorial boards of National Societies of Cardiology Journals of the ESC by Dilek Ural 👏🧿 EHJ Editor-in-Chief Lale Tokgozoglu Dr Roxana Mehran Dr. Martha Gulati ♥️🫀❤️🩹🇨🇦 Ritu Thamman MD Turkish Society of Cardiology Türk Kardiyoloji Derneği
Happy to have written editorial for OCCUPI with Gary Mintz The Lancet thelancet.com/journals/lance… An important trial that advances our understanding of OCT use in complex PCI. It's not using imaging that makes a difference, it's achieving optimal image guided results
#ESCCongress2024 You can read lots more about the trial here: Shelley Wood (she/her) Mamas A. Mamas TCTMD tctmd.com/news/mitraclip…
Mamas A. Mamas The Lancet Great editorial - and final remark is spot on: "With available data, the question is no longer whether you should use intravascular imaging for people with complex PCI, but rather how you use it and whether optimal imaging criteria have been achieved"
Congratulations Jung-Min Ahn I think this is one of the trials that will have the broadest impact at the esc for the everyday clinician along with senior rita
Sheer joy 🙌 to connect with Madalina Garbi & thank you for allocating time for us to meet🙏
In the wake of the highly successful European Society of Cardiology #ESC2024 that saw the publication of many important RCTs, it bears mentioning that observational data are good for describing practice patterns, not for treatment comparisons.

A loan which would be repaid. Yet the DoH is covering costs for an unaccredited, non standardised course with questionable employment opportunities. Makes no sense.
