This is something Irish 🇮🇪maternity services have got better at- thanks to ⁦Department of Health⁩ and ⁦National Women & Infants Health Programme⁩ funding. This is a really interesting committee with a broad membership-expressions of interest currently being sought from a range of specialist groups incl paediatrics, public health, nursing & midwifery, GP, laboratory services, genetics, pathology & more! Consider it!

Positive uptake of the RSV immunisation programme for newborn babies, protecting them when they are most vulnerable to serious RSV-related illness. I encourage all parents of babies born between September and February 2025 to ensure their baby is protected.
