On Monday I saw our fantastic supervised toothbrushing programme for 3-5 year olds in action in Sheffield. With 2 million products already delivered, our partnership with Colgate-Palmolive will benefit 600,000 kids this year by building good habits and improving dental health 🦷

Tory neglect of NHS dentisty has left many patients having to pull their own teeth out 🦷 So we're taking action. We're incentivising dentists to prioritise complex and urgent dental care. From April more patients will get urgent dental care thanks to our overhaul of dentistry.

I'm proud of the work we are doing to turn NHS dentisty around. We’re increasing urgent dental appointments on the NHS by incentivising dentists to free up more time for complex and urgent dental care. Getting an urgent dental appt on the NHS shouldn't feel like pulling teeth.
