Lipstick on a pig. KAI SOTTO & JUSTIN BROWNLEE were the lipstick, Gilas was/is the Pig. They made us look good for a time. The current structure & handling of this Gilas team is still horrendous. Superhuman performances from Brownlee can only get you so far.

No matter how great of a coach you are, Gilas coaches are always set up for failure. SBP gets coaches who have teams in the PBA and can't focus on our program all year round. Lack of preparation, conflicting schedules & no familiarity. THINGS MUST CHANGE.

Great to see Gilas finally get a win. All our loses were winnable. Hope Coach Tim gives more minutes to Carl and KQ. Those two have big upsides.

Biggest mistake SBP & Coach Tim made was including Malonzo. Anyone with no bias & a brain knows Malonzo is the worst player in Gilas because of his bball IQ and inability to overcome his nervousness. Without Malonzo, TNT wouldn't have all 3 championships vs Ginebra.

This FIBA Asia Cup showed us we have another Dwight Ramos. Someone who can be reliable & consistent on both ends, Kevin Quiambao take a damn bow. Hoping we add JORDAN HEADING next tournament too. That man is lights out and is on Dwight's level when it comes to showing up.
