An overdue 🧵: In May, I wrapped up a whirlwind year as a politics fellow at The New York Times covering 2024 campaigns and elections. I wrote over 125 stories and reported from nearly a dozen states, filing anywhere from aboard Air Force One to the side of an Iowa highway, mid-blizzard.
