Judge Donna Scott Davenport, who oversees Rutherford Co.’s juvenile court system, will no longer teach at Middle Tennessee State University. She's come under national scrutiny for oversight of a system that'd been illegally arresting & detaining children for years. bit.ly/3mOgtaX

Wow! This cop is running for office in TN? We don’t need him elected … and let’s see if this wrongful arrest can get him off the beat… imagine having the power to arrest someone who annoyed you? who would you arrest if you could arrest anyone for being obnoxious?

Literally thought the same thing. I have 5 kids, 4 that I gave birth to and 1 adopted. They are all mine. My sister adopted three. And we are both pro-choice and great moms to ALL our kids. #shameonthem

He could’ve voted no, that would’ve sent an even stronger message. Those who watch the bullies and egg them on are as bad as the bullies themselves.

Looking at old TN legislative debates, I'm struck by this irony: GOP legislature would not expand health care for the uninsured b/c accepting "free" federal money would drive up the debt. But we are accepting federal money for roads, bridges - even though it too adds to the debt.

3 weeks ago, my daughter left Ukraine after living there for 6 months. Her boyfriend came home last week. Her old housemate is still there and can hear explosions from her apt. I’m so grateful my kids are home but fearful for so many who are stuck there and can’t get out. #pray

This was so spot on. Sen. Marsha Blackburn deserves all of the ridiculousness she gets. To attempt to embarrass a woman during #womenshistorymonth in a pivotal moment in women’s history… the only people she embarrassed was her constituency in TN. #bebetter #marshamarshamarsha

"I know that hate will only win if people like me stand by and let it happen." Please watch this incredible speech from Michigan State Senator Mallory McMorrow, who is not standing by.

Thanks for the update. That story did NOT make my Rep charlie Baum look good. I mean, I’ve always expected he had an agenda in the state house. He is a Koch bros sponsored university professor… he’s always had an agenda….

I hate to say it Jeff Yarbro we are already halfway to crazy in this state. Thank you for continuing to speak up and speak out in the chamber. We are heading into a dark place.

When I ran, I asked Hunt for a meeting. I met with syler, none would get involved. Cooper was the only one who supported me. It’s not a lack of good people. It’s the lack of support and the broken systems that are difficult to overcome.
