When I started the podcast I'd never even spoken into a microphone before, never edited anything and I learnt as I went. It wasn't supposed to be polished, too many pods are, it was just meant to be two Nate's Chatting about their favourite band

The What Is Music podcast started after Emma and I decided we wanted to do this. But thankfully, theirs was an in-depth, blow by blow chronological account of their history but we never planned to be that so it was frustrating when people said we were copying!

There's things with the first few episodes I'd do differently (in editing and hosting!) but like I say, we'll come back better. Thank you to Emma for being an amazing co-host! I'm doing another pod (side project!) to help me improve. There'll always be room for improvement.

I knew taking on my biggest music love was a big thing in itself, yet alone the weight of the meaning they have to every fan. Our opinions aren't right or wrong, they're just our opinions. And Emma is still wrong about Golden Platitudes 😉 Thanks for reading. Stay beautiful X
