This week, Jenn Goodwin and I read the kiddos the story, Mr. Willosby Christmas Tree. The book focused on rhyming words (genre study this week) but also focused on the idea of being thankful and resourceful! After, each student made their own Christmas Tree Slime. #BCSDEaglePride

I had the honor of welcoming 300 additional police recruits to our academy this morning — more than 2/3 of whom are NYC residents. These men & women will soon join their peers patrolling city subways & streets — and working with all communities to keep NYers safe.
