Oneworld Cockpit Crew Coalition just completed our semi-annual Board of Directors meeting hosted by BALPA. Our other members from Alaska Airlines Pilots, Allied Pilots, HKAOA, Finnish Pilots Assn., Sepla, JFU pilots, SPL - Sindicato Pilotos LATAM, AIPA Airline Pilots' Guild of Sri Lanka were all in attendance in person or virtually!

In the midst of the crisis, LATAM Chile implemented an adjustment that involved the dismissal of some 240 pilots, a 30% salary reduction and moving towards a variable salary model. What we are asking for is to recover the conditions that we had before the adjustment.

BA pilots represented by BALPA, alongside pilots across the Oneworld Cockpit Crew Coalition (OCCC), stand in solidarity with Sindicato de Pilotos LATAM (SPL) represented pilots of LATAM Airlines Chile in their efforts to improve pay & conditions from pandemic levels. 1 of 3

In the final hours before the strike would have gone into effect, the parties reached an agreement on the terms and conditions for the next 3-yr contract. The TA, which addresses an important part of the needs of the pilots, goes to the membership to be ratified.

Following a membership vote, with a 78% approval, SPL signs new 3-year collective agreement with LATAM. The Board would like to thank all SPL members, IFALPA, SkyTeam Pilots, Oneworld Cockpit Crew Coalition, USAPLA, Asociación de Pilotos de Chile, and numerous pilot associations around the world for their support!
