This is correct. The worst feeling is when I wake up with a pounding headache and dry mouth and realize I'd been going on about Nietschze for hours.

Despite being born and raised in London it makes me uncomfortable when conversations about Black British communities are so London-centric. Black African and Caribbean communities have a long history outside of London from Bristol to Liverpool, Leeds to Birmingham.

I think I understand why the conversation tends to go in this direction but it doesn't solve the issues that our communities face on a national level. It is for the government, local authorities and law enforcement to make our people feel safe. The answer isn't just geography.
