Reading Bag of Bones again by Stephen King was like the first time as it had been so long. Just when I had recovered from the Rogette/Max scene , you then throw the hot coals of the BBQ scene on me. Felt so angry, disturbed and broken hearted in one swoop.X

As a lifelong Pearl Jam fan, their new albums are a mix of delight & disappointment. I’m always aching for a return to the first 3 albums- totally unfair of me as they are now in their 60s.”waiting for Stevie” does that - it’s perfect and could be from 10.

Gutted to hear of Scott’s passing. The brilliant podcast that he & Eric Vespe created was instrumental in helping us create Kingsize. Their voices, banter, irreverence and passion was a constant companion for me, especially in the dark days of the pandemic.

I’ve been sulking with Stephen King. Cos he won’t come on our show. Childish. Yet quite refreshing -no pressure to meet your heroes. And now, with some distance, I am lost in the beauty and brutality of “You Like It Darker”. It feels like coming home. One Talented Bastid.
