It's been an amazing honour to be at the #GYSS2023. Feeling truly inspired by the The Nobel Prize laureates and emerging young scientists gathered here in #Singapore. Thanks ourANU and @gyss_sg for selecting me to participate and to present some of my work Christoph Nitsche at the event.

Very honoured to receive the ANU Vice-Chancellor Award for Excellence in Advancing Research. This one is for my family, particularly my wife Marlena and our two older children, Lotti and Alex, who have made numerous sacrifices over the past 10 years. I owe them everything!

It was an amazing experience with Junming He summarising this perspective on biocompatible peptide macrocyclisation strategies! Thanks to Christoph Nitsche for all the inputs.

Today, 35 years ago on 9 November 1989, the Berlin Wall fell—a pivotal event without which I and millions of others would not have had the chance to freely pursue their life goals. A timely reminder that freedom should never be taken for granted.
