When people say "abortion" they're talking about induced abortions, not miscarriages. I get the medical term for miscarriage is "spontaneous abortion." The adjective "spontaneous" is a critical qualifier. Natural deaths differ from purposeful killing, both ethically & legally.

I’m pro-life, but tweets like this are SO unhelpful. Lots of women have abortions who are in committed relationships. A small percentage have abortions because of rape. Tweets like this just add more division to a society that is already too divided.

I few thoughts on the media and abortion industry using the case of a 10 year old rape survivor for their agenda. 1) The debate regarding whether or not abortion should be permissible in the case of rape is necessary. 2) Any discussion around it needs nuance & compassion.
