The Laken Riley Act doesn't do anything for the system. It makes it more broken. It's a terrible bill that shouldn't have her name on it. Don't let the emotion of the name fool you into supporting it. It could damage the separation of powers and do much more harm than good.

Today, the Senate is currently slated to take up the Laken Riley Act (H.R. 29/S.5), legislation that passed the House of Representatives earlier this week and could cause significant harm amongst immigrant communities and the U.S. economy by jeopardizing an entire workforce.
