First time experimenting with a daytime party yesterday for Lost In Disco and that was brilliant fun. Myself and Andrew Levy from the Brand New Heavies as DJs, and former Chic vocalist Folami singing live, in The Social. Absolutely lovely crowd as always.

In decades of seeing live music, last night was my first time at Alexandra Palace, and it was rightfully rammed for THE THE Fantastic gig, ending with two of the greatest songs of the 80s in Uncertain Smile and Giant.

Haven’t seen the Joker sequel so can’t comment on how good it is, but the box office talk is so dull. Is that really how we’re judging artistic efforts? The first one made a mint, so either way the studio is up. I may hate it, but at least they’re trying something different.

BTW - Re Delia Derbyshire. CarolineCatzOfficial amazing film 'Delia Derbyshire: The Myths and the Legendary Tapes' is available on BBC IPLAYER... for which I was privileged to do the original score.

When you're hearing "Fly Me To The Moon," that's Quincy Jones. "Give Me The Night?" That's Quincy Jones. "Human Nature?" Quincy Jones...he always shapes the song to the performer, something I've always kept in mind as a writer and a Showrunner.

Announcement at Clapham Junction saying no skateboards or scooters. Honestly SWR Help we’d all get anywhere way faster on a fucking skateboard.
